About Us
The ASM Northern New England (NNE) Chapter is composed of approximately 180 members from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont with a broad range of technical interests from metallurgy to paper processing.
Programmed events are held once a month in the fall and spring across the Northern New England Region. Based on the chapter membership geographical distribution, the majority of events are in the Manchester, NH area as well as one meeting in Vermont and one on the Maine seacoast each year. Please visit the programs page and calendar to browse past and upcoming events.
Officers hold executive meetings about once a month where they plan upcoming events. The general membership is encouraged to attend executive meetings. We encourage anyone who would like to give a technical presentation, hold a plant tour at their place of business, or suggest a presentation topic to contact us. Please visit the calendar to find the next scheduled executive meeting.
We encourage members who are looking for a way to give back to the engineering community to join the ASM NNE chapter organizing team. Officer elections are held in the late spring. Please contact us if you are interested in joining the organizing team or participating as a chapter officer.
